First Bilateral Cochlear Implant Successfully Performed at Lor Hospital

According to Qafqazinfo, for the first time at Lor Hospital, a bilateral cochlear implant surgery (implant placement in both ears simultaneously) was successfully performed. The operation was carried out by ENT and Head & Neck Surgery specialist Dr. Tacedin Muradov.
With the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Compulsory Health Insurance, hundreds of patients with hearing impairments have been examined at Lor Hospital, and cochlear implant surgery has been successfully performed on over 100 children, restoring their hearing.
